UltraTech Cement Limited, the world’s largest cement producer outside China, has joined LeadIT.

The company brings extensive industry expertise and a strong commitment to achieving low-carbon cement production through collaboration and innovation.

The transition to a low-carbon industry will succeed only if the world’s largest industrial companies lead the way. LeadIT is therefore delighted to welcome UltraTech Cement Limited as its newest company member.  Membership was announced at a reception in New Delhi, following a week of meetings with Indian Government ministries.

UltraTech joins the Leadership Group at a pivotal moment for industry transition. The challenge is no longer simply setting ambition, but delivering implementation at scale. As a global leader in the cement sector, UltraTech brings significant experience and influence. When such leaders commit to the transition, they have the potential to accelerate the pace of change for all.
