The Leadership Group for Industry Transition (LeadIT) was launched by the prime ministers of Sweden and India with support from the World Economic Forum (WEF) during the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Action Summit on 23 September, 2019, in New York.
Representatives from Sweden, India and the World Economic Forum make up LeadIT’s Management Board. A Technical and Expert Committee, made up of LeadIT member representatives, advises the Board. The Board approves new members and decides on the workplan of the Secretariat.
Gökçe leads the LeadIT Secretariat. She is a research professional with a decade of regulatory analysis, project development and stakeholder management experience focused on energy and industry transitions.
Within the LeadIT Secretariat, Gökçe leads conceptual and methodological development of analysis on industry transitions and socio-technical change and provides recommendations to government and industry leaders on industry transitions.
Robert leads the partnerships work at the LeadIT Secretariat. Over the last ten years, he has lead communications and engagement capacity building efforts and developed effective science-policy communication methods that are focused on results and the needs of stakeholders.
Within the LeadIT Secretariat, Rob is responsible for implementation of the LeadIT Summit and development of industry transition dialogues bringing together country and company members.
Somya Joshi
Roadmaps Lead
Somya leads the Industry Transition Roadmaps work at the LeadIT Secretariat. She is a expert in decision making support, stakeholder engagement, technology and process innovation towards realizing the sustainable development goals.
Within the LeadIT Secretariat, Somya leads the creation of an interactive guide on how to design roadmaps and analysis on how developing nations might engage in industry transition.
Åsa Moberg
Finance Lead
Åsa leads Finance Working Groups of LeadIT Secretariat which brings together LeadIT Technical Expert Committee members, financial sector stakeholders (i.e. IFC, World Bank, public and private banks), experts from academia and think tanks. Åsa is an expert in life cycle assessment and on finance for sustainable development.
Within LeadIT Secretariat Åsa works with LeadIT company and company members and help them strive towards implementation of the financing principles for industry transition endorsed by all LeadIT members at COP26 in Glasgow.
Felipe Sanchez
Analyst
Felipe is an analyst within the LeadIT Secretariat. He brings his expertise in policy development and identifying policy implementation issues.
Within the secretariat, Felipe focuses on our trackers of industry transition roadmaps and green steel, as well as data-driven analysis and demand-side policies.
Amelinda Lindberg
Analyst
Amelinda is an analyst within the LeadIT Secretariat. Amelinda brings her expertise in scenario building and foresight methodologies especially within the area of novel technology and innovation.
Within the LeadIT Secretariat, Amelinda mainly works on industry transition roadmaps and analysis of how future techno-socioeconomic drivers could accelerate or hinder industry decarbonization pathways. Amelinda also works with demand-side policies and data-driven analysis.
Astrid Nilsson Lewis
Analyst
Astrid is a researcher within the LeadIT Secretariat. She has experience in sustainable consumption, with a background in Life Cycle Assessment.
Within LeadIT, Astrid focuses on demand-side policies, and more specifically on Green Public Procurement.
Linus Linde
Analyst
Linus is an analyst within the LeadIT Secretariat. He has experience in energy system analysis, from both a technical and socio-technical perspective, and in public policy.
Within LeadIT, Linus focuses on financing industry transitions and membership management.
Nina Eneroth
Communications Lead
Nina leads the Secretariat’s global communications efforts. She is a communications professional with a decade of experience in sustainability communication and public-private partnerships.
Within the LeadIT Secretariat, Nina is responsible for planning and developing communications activities on industry transition in collaboration with LeadIT members and partners.
Silvija Marcinkevičiūtė
Communications Officer
Silvija supports the Secretariat’s global communications efforts. She is a communications professional with experience in science communication and international multilateral cooperation.
Within the LeadIT Secretariat, Silvija supports the implementation and development of the LeadIT communication strategy and communication activities.

Linnéa is a graphic designer within the LeadIT Secretariat. She is an experienced visual artist, illustrator and filmmaker.
Within LeadIT, Linnéa works on designing branded materials, visualising information and further developing the LeadIT brand.
