Leadership Summit

Ahead of the fifth anniversary of the signing of the Paris Agreement, the Leadership Summit will focus on aligning public and private action for effective implementation of the Paris Agreement.

The Summit agenda builds on the Ministerial statement released in July 2020 and is one of a series of drumbeat events leading up to COP26. It has its sights firmly set on making COP26 a success by complementing the growing ambition of non-Party actors and finding opportunities to reflect this ambition in policy and finance, and supporting the implementation of existing NDCs through the industry transition.
