About the Industry Transition Partnership (ITP)
The ITP aims to unlock flagship projects in the steel and cement sectors in India by fostering the enabling conditions needed to support an accelerated and scaled low-carbon transition. It works with innovation and R&D, mobilizing finance, and advancing market-based mechanisms.
Leaders’ Roundtable
Opening the Roundtable session, Minister Yadav underscored India’s commitment to collaborative, technology-driven, and sustainable industrial transitions under the Paris Agreement. He emphasised the country’s balanced approach to growth and sustainability and highlighted the important role played by LeadIT in uniting governments, industries, and international partners dedicated to advancing low-carbon and competitive industrial value chains.

During the Roundtable discussion that followed, LeadIT member countries and companies had the opportunity to take stock of progress and chart the next phase of global industrial cooperation.
