For 2026, LeadIT is once again working with Engaging India at Almedalen, bringing together Swedish and Indian actors for an event during this important week in the political calendar of Sweden. Almedalsveckan (Almedalen Week) is held annually in Visby on the island of Gotland and is a forum where politicians, stakeholders, and the public gather for speeches, seminars, and discussions.
The 2026 edition of Engaging India at Almedalen centres on the intersection of AI, sustainability, and industrial transformation, with a focus on how India and Sweden can jointly shape pathways for climate action and economic growth. The discussions will explore:
