Date 2026-11-12
Time 09.00 - 09.40
Location Swedish Pavilion, Hall 2 / C420, Blue Zone, Antalya EXPO Center

Context

The transition to low-carbon industry presents significant opportunities for investment, innovation and competitiveness, but turning these opportunities into commercially viable projects remains a challenge. Companies operate across interconnected markets and value chains. Accelerating green industrialization requires stronger alignment between business priorities, enabling policies and market opportunities, both within and across borders.

This dialogue will bring together industry leaders to explore what businesses need to invest in to scale low-carbon industrial solutions. Drawing on perspectives from the cement, energy, automotive and manufacturing sectors, the discussion will examine how companies are navigating the commercial realities of industrial transformation, from the bottom up. Through practical examples, the dialogue will identify where business leadership is driving progress, what barriers continue to hold back investment, and how governments and financial institutions can help create the conditions for competitive, low-carbon industries.

Moving beyond theory to operational learning and demonstrated success, the panel will ground the discussion in case studies.

Key questions

  • How can companies translate low-carbon industrial investments into commercially viable projects, and what lessons from implementation can inform success across different markets?
  • How can businesses move beyond sectoral silos to identify opportunities for collaboration across value chains, particularly around shared infrastructure, technologies and market development?
